An independent, multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy is seeking an ambitious individual to support the Partners in managing the marketing functions of the firm's UK offices. The role holder will be based in the firm's London office, but will be required to travel regularly to regional offices.
The role will be varied and fast paced and the Marketing Manager will work autonomously but in close contact with the Partners and all areas of the business, to ensure that the marketing strategy is complementary with the company's corporate business plan. Acting as a brand guardian and first point of contact for all day-to-day internal and external marketing queries, you will guide the ongoing creation and execution of the company's marketing strategy, taking a directive role in expanding marketing activity to accurately reflect increasing business growth in various sectors. With the help of an administration team, the successful candidate will take ownership of the company's events and hospitality budget, managing all costs and logistics for an annual event programme of corporate events, including managing overseas conferences. You will support the partners in corporate membership and industry organisation activity, including the generation of white papers and research pieces for each division, which will also include regular industry research and reporting on notable market activity. The role holder will be responsible for the management of the firm's online portfolio, including the day-to-day management and content generation of social media channels and the external website, and offline portfolio of marketing materials, including the design and content generation of flyers, brochures, datasheets and event invitations. You will also be tasked with generating content and managing the contact database of a quarterly e-newsletter, delivered to 2,000 of the Partner's clients and industry contacts, in addition to sector and event focused mail-outs. Another key aspect of the role will involve assisting the Bid Management Division in the generation and understanding of monthly and annual work generation targets, including regular reporting and the management of the submission library.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and driven graduate with a recognised marketing professional qualification or a desire to attain one. You will past experience in a corporate marketing department, ideally in the property or construction sector, and will be able to demonstrate success within digital marketing and delivering a successful marketing strategy. The role will take you across all areas of our business, so you must be confident in your ability to build and manage relationships across all levels of stakeholders. The role holder will also require exemplary attention to detail and must possess excellent writing skills and command of the English language. In addition the Marketing Manager must be a regular user of core social media channels through which you will the ability to organise and control the firm's promotion and communications. A strong design background with proven IT skills in most Microsoft software packages is highly desirable.
