Marketing Manager (Construction & Property sector)

Superb opportunity to join an innovative Construction Consultancy in Central London as Marketing Manager.

Essential : Construction or Property Development sector experience

Experience in the tendering and bidding process

Based in EC1

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, creative, marketing professional with previous management experience and show knowledge and experience in the tendering and bidding process.

The marketing manager will work closely within Bid and Sales Operations and will have full autonomy and responsibility for creating and executing marketing strategies across a range of exciting channels (direct, CRM, Email, event, web, digital, social, content creation and other forms of marketing collateral)

Duties/ Responsibilities

*Creating and ensuring all marketing strategies and objectives are achieved within the business
*Setting and controlling the marketing budget
*Producing and updating all marketing templates, processes, procedures, databases, documentation and marketing content
*Brand positioning and development
*Organising and attending company client events, workshops and seminars
*Managing public relations
*Managing a bid coordinator to fulfil all bid submissions and formal tenders (including sign-off prior to team leader approval to submit)
*Producing external marketing literature (brochures, case studies, capability statements, newsletters, reports etc.) both digitally and in printed form
*Updating the company website
*Managing and producing content for digital and social media channels


*Reporting to a Director
*Attending networking events and promoting them within the business
*Producing reports and attend internal meetings
*Working closely with Directors and team leaders to assist with marketing activity
*Managing the annual client survey process
*Producing marketing emailers (and other direct marketing campaigns)
*Producing awards and accreditation submissions
*Promoting best practice within the company
*Conducting market research and defining market positioning
*Managing internal communication
*Maintaining the CRM system


*Educated to degree level
*Experienced marketer with minimum 3 years' experience

*Excellent verbal and written communications skills

*Highly organised
*Leadership and team working skills
*Personal drive / passion coupled with the ability to develop others
*Commercially astute with strong communication skills
*Support collaborative cross-department working

* Adobe Indesign
