Central Employment are looking to recruit a Marketing Executive, joining an established membership and non-for-profit organisation based in the North East. They have created a new opportunity within their internal Marketing & Communications function, for a highly creative Marketing Executive.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will be tasked to work across all aspects of the marketing mix, delivering compelling content and performance related campaigns.

Responsibilties of the Marketing Executive:

  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships (online engagement and community building)
  • Oversee internal communications to existing members
  • Grow social communities in line with marketing strategy
  • Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
  • Support the marketing manager in delivering agreed activities
  • Build and outreach email campaigns
  • Manage and interact with online social community across all channels
  • Run social media channels to increase audience engagement and regularly report on engagement
  • Work closely with in-house designer to create marketing materials for content outreach
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
  • Build automated email campaigns from workflow ideation for acquisition, nurturing, and retention
  • Liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots
  • Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintain and update customer databases
  • Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Develop and implement content strategy
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns and statistics to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management
  • Lead external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities
  • Contribute to writing editorial and social content

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 2 yrs. min experience within a B2B marketing role
  • Strong experience across the full marketing mix - direct and online marketing
  • In-depth digital campaign management experience - Email Marketing, Social Media, Digital Content and SEO
  • Ability to build and orchestrate email campaign (with relevant software)
  • Experience with automated campaign software would be beneficial
  • Ability to maintain WordPress website (publishing posts and updating website pages)
  • Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and Premier would be beneficial
  • Microsoft Office understanding (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • CSS/HTML skills and understanding of typography would be desirable
