MARKETING EXECUTIVE - EVENTS - CENTRAL LONDON- 6 MONTHS FTC - £31K PRO RATA

THIS ROLE IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR 6 MONTHS WITH AN ANNUAL SALARY OF £31K, WHICH WILL BE ADJUSTED ON A PRO RATA BASIS FOR THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT

Our client is a global non-profit institute who is looking for a well rounded marketing professional to join their team.

MARKETING EXECUTIVE - The candidate…

MARKETING EXECUTIVE - The role...

Marketing plan delivery and content planning

  • Working collaboratively with the wider Marketing & Digital team, to deliver our marketing plans covering best use of all platforms and putting in place customer journeys to increase engagement and align with key organisational strategies
  • Support Membership, RAISE programme and Academy teams with the setting of marketing plans, helping them engage effectively with their target audience and drive bookings and member recruitment and retention.
  • Provide marketing support for strategic projects
  • Work to ambitious, achievable targets for marketing activity
  • Using audience insight to create and integrate messaging for online and offline marketing activity
  • Build knowledge of emerging trends in marketing to benchmark activity against best practice


Creative and brand services

  • To be an internal brand champion and embed our brand guidelines and be a passionate advocate of our visual and brand identity
  • To provide creative services including design, print and photography for the organisation, including management of external suppliers
  • To create high quality materials and assets in line with organisational objectives
  • Lead the design and delivery of timely and effective marketing and event materials for all teams and our National, Regional and Special Interest Groups that adhere to brand guidelines


Manage paid and contra advertising

  • Manage the media buying for the company and individual audience teams in consultation with the Head of Marketing & Digital. This will include paid advertising and negotiating contra partnerships for company events and awards
  • Manage the delivery of individual team’s advertising which will include print and digital advertising via third parties
  • Ensure a test and learn approach by producing a monthly advertising report for circulation as well as end of campaign evaluations
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital Manager on tracking online advertising as part of advertising partnerships

MARKETING EXECUTIVE - The skills and attributes...

  • Able to demonstrate experience of assisting in the delivery of marketing campaigns, managing creative design and print processes and involvement in media buying
  • Able to show a good understanding of data protection regulations and their impact on delivering marketing activity
  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of digital marketing including social media, email and online advertising
  • Demonstrable success in project management
  • Able to demonstrate working with a range of stakeholders across an organisation to deliver successful marketing campaigns
  • Able to show experience of working with external suppliers and designers
  • Able to demonstrate the use of InDesign and/or Photoshop; with the ability to design innovative and effective marketing materials
  • Able to demonstrate experience of using website CMS to update and upload content
  • Experience of working with a charity or community or campaigning organisation (desirable)
