Our client is a world leading event organiser serving 43 industries in 38 offices around the globe.
Are you a creative, practical content Marketing Executive who happens to be great at nurturing relationships and negotiating partnerships? Do you also love events, busy, dynamic work environments and are currently looking for your next challenge?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity within the marketing department of a large and exciting division. This is a new role within the team and the suitable candidate will gain extensive experience, working across a diverse portfolio of events based around the world from; Aberdeen, Glasgow and London to Amsterdam, San Diego and Shanghai.
We are looking for an articulate, creative and enthusiastic team player, with a passion for building strong working relationships and an eye for great content.
You will have experience delivering a content calendar that harnesses content from across diverse groups and multiple industries, to deliver the objectives of the business. You will be skilled at negotiating key strategic partnerships, and nurturing those relationships. Confident in helping to shape marketing activities and collate content, with the ability to project manage multiple campaigns and execute them successfully and to time. Able to communicate effectively and present your ideas with clarity, offering a creative edge, with a tenacious can do approach.
·Previous experience working in a similar communications or community role, ideally from a B2B organisation
·Work with Marketing Managers to review and shape strategic activities to support Partnership development
·Maintain and develop new and existing relationships with key strategic external relationships
·Work with key stakeholders across the team, business and externally to develop and collate content to coincide with strategic initiatives, press releases, show updates, ad campaigns, and other brand messaging to drive engagement across all channels for content created both on and offline, to time and within budget
·Work with Central Team functions to assist in fulfilling the deals for all relevant events in the portfolio
·Co-ordinate all activity timelines with the Central functions within the business, Media Partners and Association
·Collate, create, plan and deliver a schedule of activity for content strategies across the portfolio of shows
·Develop engaging, creative, innovative content, which enlighten audiences, promote brand-focused messages, are customer centric and benefit-led
·Passionate and articulate with the ability to proactively execute and help shape a content and communications strategy that drives traffic, engagement, user and revenue growth
·A creative flair, with the ability to visualise, as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content.
·Able to proactively research and produce high quality content often to short deadlines.
·Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to deliver against plans and targets
·Must be customer focussed balanced with commercial acumen.
·A strong relationship builder with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and business partnering
·Excellent proof-reading, editing and copy-writing skills: You need to devise and edit content across various channels
·Strong time and project management skills
·Computer software proficiency and excellent IT skills with advanced Word and PowerPoint skills
·Solid database management skills
