Marketing Executive (With Key Focus on Digital Marketing)

Duties of the Marketing Executive

With a key focus on digital marketing, principal duties of the marketing executive include the coordination of marketing activities across internal, external and channel marketing. This role reports to the Marketing Director:

  • Digital Marketing

o Manage website content and design updates via WordPress and Weebly

o Create and post content for social media channels in line with company guidelines

o Provide website and social media performance analysis via Google Analytics

  • Marketing Communications

o Produce and maintain marketing materials, graphics and literature

o Coordinate a wide range of marketing communications, both internal and external

o Provide logistical support for marketing events and exhibitions

o Brief suppliers, such as graphic designer, SEO and PR agency

  • Marketing Support

o Provide marketing support to all departments as required

o Update and maintain CRM, SharePoint and other databases

o Co-ordinate the marketing budget

Requirements of the role

  • Experience with managing website CMS such as WordPress
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is an advantage
  • Comfortable with using unfamiliar technology
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles and commercial awareness
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Effective project management skills
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Personable, decisive, adaptable, presentable and articulate

Qualifications and training required

  • A degree, preferably in marketing (not essential but an advantage)

Additional information

  • The role is a full-time position, 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday
  • 20 days holiday increasing every year up to a maximum of 25 days
