Marketing Executive (12 Month FTC) - Global Engineering Consultancy - Newcastle
Based in Newcastle, this is a fantastic 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for an enthusiastic marketer to join the collaborative Marketing team of a Global Engineering Consultancy.
The successful applicant will enjoy a varied role contributing to the provision of Marketing and Business Development support, with a particular focus on marketing communications. The firm wish to appoint an experienced Marketing Executive to play a key role in their Newcastle office, providing proactive and creative thought-leadership and day-to-day operational management within the region, across the UK and internationally. The role holder will need to quickly establish a close understanding of the business priorities, available resources and current systems and processes. You will help to support the existing team in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, events, PR, and business development strategies, whilst also managing and producing regular internal and external communications, ensuring the quality and consistency of content.
The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent, ideally with a qualification in marketing, and will have proven experience in a marketing or business development role within a professional services or consultancy environment, to include experience of working with marketing databases. Crucially, you should have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a proven track-record of influencing senior stakeholders in an assertive but diplomatic manner. Knowledge of the built environment sector would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
