Marketing Copywriter

Our client is a leading fintech company with an intense focus on providing alternative and friction-less credit solutions to under banked customers that do not have adequate access to mainstream banking services. Their primary market is the UK, which is growing rapidly, with majority of their development and production facilities residing in the United States and India.

They are looking for a Marketing Copywriter, initially to start on a 6 month contract with the potential to become a permanent team member, who will be responsible for working with other areas of the business to conceive, develop and produce effective customer communications and content. The role

  • Write high-engagement communications and content that reflect the brand(s) voice: Emails, web advertising, scripts for radio adds and TV Commercials, headlines, straplines and body copy for print advertising and media
  • Collaborate with other areas of Marketing, PR and Customer Management to develop a variety of content marketing materials
  • Produce error-free content that adheres to the company’s style guidelines and wider regulatory requirements
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
  • Amend, revise or redevelop copy or campaigns in response to feedback from Stakeholders
  • Oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion
  • Keep up to date with popular culture and trends
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communications delivered.


  • 3 + years’ experience in marketing/ communications/ media studies/ journalism
  • Ability to write good, 'onbrand’, clear copy in a variety of styles with excellent spelling and grammar
  • Exceptional skill with the nuances of campaign, long form and social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis and acronyms
  • Experience in producing copy for digital, print and broadcast channels
  • Solid understanding of SEO concepts preferred

Salary: Up to 42k + Bonus (6 Month Contract)
