About Us: AfID is an award-winning international social enterprise, providing essential financial management capacity-building support and specialist recruitment service to over 500 charities, international NGOs operating over 50 countries. Since 2009 we have successfully placed over 1300 qualified accountants in specialist volunteer roles.

AfID is urgently seeking an exceptional individual to join the Marketing, Communications & Recruitment team to assist with the rapid expansion of our already successful specialist global Charity Volunteer & Recruitment services.

The Role: We are seeking an ambitious and talented marketing professional to help drive the expansion of our specialist Volunteer & Recruitment services across the International Development sector. The individual will be expected to manage and improve the efficiency of a number of recruitment projects including digital & social media marketing, charity partner research & acquisition, creative editorial and online advert copy writing.

We hope the successful candidate will add to their role and bring new, original and creative ideas that will expand our network of supporters, charity partners and most importantly volunteers and candidates globally.

You will also be part of a research and development team building our network of charity partners, volunteers, accountants, accounting networks globally through various digital marketing, relationship building programmes and other marketing and communications mediums.

About You: You must be driven with phenomenal networking skills, demonstrating a talent for marketing in a variety of forms. First and foremost, you must be able to demonstrate an ability to engage, build rapport and develop effective professional relationships with AfID’s diverse and wide client and customer demographic. Your written English must be perfect. A can do, positive attitude and a good sense of humour is essential.
