My client, a specialised, medical device company, leading both the market and technology leader in terms of patient solution innovation, is now looking for a creative, self motivated, dynamic marketer, to join its Nottingham based Nottingham team.  

A business that designs, manufactures and sells its entire portfolio directly to leading institutions, health care professionals and patients, you'll be responsible for delivering a uniquely blended B2B & B2C marketing strategy. 

A global business that employs 80 staff in the UK, you'll be a key member of its integral Marketing Team, currently standing at 4. 

You will be part of an entrepreneurial, informal yet ambitious work environment in which international teams work together to continuously grow and develop the business.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you'll be supported by a Marketing Assistant and 2 Events Assistant, and play a pivotal role in the team.

You are expected to contribute from day one, and you will have great opportunities to be challenged, and develop both professionally and personally. No two days are the same here, it's all or nothing, with a real pace and sense of urgency of work, often described as 'hectic' or perhaps, more realistically, ' organised chaos.'
• Support in management of key external relationships such as printers for production or any outside agencies used.
• Support all internal communication activities to improve employee engagement.

Here are just some of the things you will find yourself managing in this role -

1. Creating marketing materials, including design and content (e.g. Letters, Newsletters, Campaigns, Flyers and Brochures)

2. Co-ordinating regular marketing initiatives, including catalogues and mailshots

3. Copy-writing marketing materials and literature

4. Maximising internet presence, managing and improving 2 UK websites (word-press) and improving search rankings and visibility (via Google Analytics)

5. Assessing marketing campaigns/activities, i.e. ROI

6. Managing brand standards and tone of voice guidelines

7. Supporting field sales staff, and patient led events

8. Maintaining marketing library 

9. Market Research

So what do you need to bring to the mix?..

A proven Marketing Assistant and/or Executive, you'll have experience of content creation and copy-writing for campaigns, presentations, websites etc.

Highly creative, you'll be confident and capable of developing the graphic design of various marketing materials, fluent in design packages (especially PhotoShop and InDesign).

Digital Marketing, Social Media and E-mail campaign will be second nature to you, although will act to complement the print collateral and design.

Naturally, you'll be a strong communicator, able to engage and influence at all levels within the business.

Innovative, with a genuine proactivity, you'll have a strong sense of urgency, thriving in fast-paced environment.
