Leading the way in the provision of static control and hazardous area safety my client offers a wide range of both patented products and safety solutions. Operating globally, from its offices in Nottingham, a recent international buyout has seen significant growth in both demand and therefore human resources, across its network in the UK, Germany and Singapore.

This continued growth now sees the business looking to join its’ Marketing Function, with the addition of an experienced Marketing Executive. And whilst the team stands at just 3 right now, please don't be fooled by size! Its function, capability and remit is vast, with potential international responsbility to follow!

So, based in Nottingham, a key member of the Marketing Team, you'll work closely with Sales, bringing to life the company marketing strategy, focusing on marketing communications using digital, print and social media.

And, whilst there’s no such thing as a ‘typical day’ ,you’ll find yourself...

Coordinating advertising / press releases in digital and print media (with a focus on new digital and print advertising / PR opportunities in the US, Germany and ASEAN region)
Creating and placing digital banners, US, Germany and ASEAN region
Identifying and presenting associated costings
Creating campaign webpages on the core websites for each campaign
Managing Social media site updates
Managing campaigns using Google Analytics and SalesForce
Placing regular Application Bulletins regularly
Placing White Paper editorial content / scanning editorial & pushing for editorial opportunities
Establishing and managing editor network
Managing placement of new and historical editorial content
Customer route tracking
Continually evaluating what marketing tools and techniques provoke a response and those that do not
Organising webinars with distributors for product launches and training
Managing Company newsletters
Supporting schedule of exhibitions, planning stands and equipment to be shipped

Of course, an (electrical) engineering background would be ideal, but not essential. You’ll have an aptitude for all things technical and a willingness to learn all there is to know about the product range. Be prepared, it maybe difficult at first to get to grips with the mechanics of what the business does, but with comprehensive internal product training, and ongoing support, so long as you have grit and determination to succeed, and a genuine passion and enthusiasm for driving the business forward through creative and well co-ordinated marketing, you’ll thrive!

You’ll also need to have / be:

• Experience of digital marketing / SEO in a B2B / industrial marketing environment
• Original content creation experience
• Able to grasp the concept and promote company’s value proposition
• Managed marketing communications programs through various media including web, social media, third party publishers (online & print)
