This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to market and promote APM’s key events and conferences.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will work closely with the events and digital team to brand, launch and promote key APM events including the award-winning APM Conference, the prestigious APM Awards, along with other high-profile conferences and events.

The successful individual will have knowledge of the conference and event market, the skills to analyse website analytics and customer statistics and the ability to produce meaningful campaign reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential and the ability to write engaging copy for promotional purposes. An appreciation of the work of a professional body is desirable.

Additional Skills and Experience Required:

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience of working in a marketing department, with event marketing experience

  • Experience of executing integrated marketing campaigns with a particular focus on digital marketing

  • Budget management experience

  • Able to plan and use digital media effectively

  • Ability to build effective business relationships

  • Effective PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to use CRM database and create reports

  • Well-developed teamwork skills

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Negotiation skills

  • Effective presentation skills

Main benefits at APM:

  • 25 days holiday (excluding all public holidays). This increases with length of service - by one day after four years’ service, then another day every other year, to a max of 30 days per year.
