Global Marketing Automation Systems Manager - Marketing Automation Platforms (CRM, Adobe Campaign / Pardot / Marketo / Hubspot - 3 Month Contract - London

Superb opportunity to join a Global B2B publishing brand based in Central London as a marketing technology professional. Reporting into the Global Marketing Technology & Data Director, this role will be a key driver of business objectives, and the glue that pulls together different programs, communications, and contributors and stakeholders to create a plan. In depth knowledge of Marketing Automation / Customer Experience (CX) platforms is key, as is an excellent grasp of inbound / outbound / digital / cross-channel marketing journeys is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 4-5 years’ experience in marketing technology and platforms
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, computer science or a related field
  • High degree of understanding and familiarity across all marketing channels
  • Experience in training different levels across a global organisation
  • Experience in managing multiple projects with a multitude of stakeholders, with tight deadlines
  • Excellent and clear communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms - eg. Adobe Campaign, Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot, etc.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools - eg. Apteco Faststats, Tableau, Power BI, BrightTarget, etc.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and MS Access
  • Experience with email, landing page, survey design and best practices - eg. Adobe Campaign, Unbounce, iON Interactive, Sitecore, Salesforce, Pardot, etc. is a plus

Skills and Attributes

  • Ability to work independently in an agile team on multiple live projects
  • Basic understanding of HTML, Javascript, SQL is a plus

Principle Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical account manager for marketing systems: deliver front-line support and in-depth knowledge of marketing technology and processes diagnosing then solving technical marketing issues and data queries
  • Liaise with vendors and business partners to continuously improve functionality of systems
  • Act as technical lead and owner of internal software development projects in regards to marketing automation, data capture, system integration, migration between marketing applications
  • Identify and define the mechanisms needed to deliver revenue-generating results
  • Collaboratively work to develop the design, scoping, resourcing, implementation and testing of the project in association with external developer resources
  • Manage, train and up-skill external support resources based in Europe (Bulgaria, France, UK)
  • Responsible for designing and implementing settings or coaching others on how to use these platforms to their full potential
  • Manage the workload and project pipeline of an external technical developer
  • Ensure all improvements to systems and processes are properly documented
  • Data compliance and protection are a big part of the role and the candidate will provide strategic advocacy to business users when it comes to preference gathering, management, analysis, storage and best practice
  • Assist businesses when it comes to reporting on campaign effectiveness, database usage, conversions, content strategy, customer/prospect behaviour, financial overlap
  • Create and organize user training documentation (online and offline)

You will assist marketing managers in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and automation, owning overall relationship with stakeholders when it comes to marketing automation, increasing adoption of outbound marketing and analytics systems used at the company, GDPR compliance, and data quality, extraction/loading queries. This role will provide consultancy support globally across the Organisation, you will be an expert for all internal marketing systems.

This is an exciting contract with the opportunity to work with the latest marketing technologies on an international scale.

Daily Rate is up to £500 per day, depending on experience.
