Randstad Sourceright have partnered with a globally distinguished asset management firm to help recruit a number of positions for their ambitious and innovative Institutional Marketing team. This Marketing Associate opportunity would suit a forward-thinking marketing professional with a desire to develop their career with a leading brand.

As Marketing Associate, you will be given responsibility for implementing and delivering marketing programmes across the EMEA region. These campaigns will cover direct marketing, thought leadership, media partnerships, web content and events & conferences. Through these campaigns, you will be tasked with driving brand engagement and work to establish the organisation as a thought leader in its field. You will be given the opportunity to gain exposure to many parts of the business as you can collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, product, operations, digital, events and legal to deliver the most effective programmes.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

As Marketing Associate, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting business objectives through delivery of marketing activities that align with the company’s brand and are designed to meet client needs.
  • Delivering effective, multi-faceted marketing programs that provide a seamless client experience and position the company as the trusted adviser in the institutional marketplace including:

  • Planning and execute event and conference sponsorships
  • Working with a range of internal stakeholders, including sales teams, creative services, digital marketing, compliance and corporate communications to create and deliver a range of marketing collateral (including print, email, direct mail and web content), advertorials and thought leadership
  • Managing, write and edit digital copy on key themes against tight deadlines to deliver compelling marketing content for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Participation in industry awards
  • Collating and reporting on campaign metrics, and work with the campaign managers and sales enablement to ensure alignment with objectives and increase sales opportunities
  • Leading and champion processes and procedures including the content management system (e.g. Percolate) to help improve the operational efficiency of the EMEA institutional marketing team
  • Executing internal sales enablement initiatives and generate interest and excitement around marketing activities and programmes.

     

    Skills and Experience

    The successful Marketing Associate will have the following skills and experience:
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in delivering a variety of marketing programmes and tactics.
  • Experience in working in the asset management industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable passion for understanding financial markets and the institutional sector is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a high performance team environment.
  • Adaptability, reliability and a strong focus on delivery.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with keen attention to detail while understanding the bigger picture
  • Excellent tactical execution and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects from end-to-end in a complex and changing environment.
  • Highly customer focussed and willing to provide services to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degree in relevant discipline.
