Marketing Assistant Internal

The purpose of this role is to promote our business to our employees and drive employee engagement through internal marketing and communications activities that nourish and grow our values based culture, and ensure our people feel connected to the stakeholders of the business.
We are a flexible business and offer a hybrid of office and remote working. For this role to truly exceed we suggest a presence in the office 2 – 3 times per week to get really close to the people who make our business.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Support the People Director with the development and implementation of an internal marketing strategy
• Implement a communications strategy that ensures two-way transparent information across all employee groups, that support our culture and company values
• Prepare internal marketing materials (design, write, editing, proof reading)
• Co-ordinating briefings, employee meetings and other communications campaigns
• Create content for an internal communications platform that encourages employees to recognise the efforts of each other, demonstrate values led behaviours, and continual personal development
• Manage suppliers for internal marketing events, promotional materials, gifts etc
• Organise events and meetings that connect employees with each other, our brand purpose and mission, and ensure they are working toward the same vision
• Organise our internal marketing survey to improve employee engagement
• Ensure internal marketing events are constantly improved by drawing on best practice and innovation from our sector and wider communications forums.
• Drive early engagement and business understanding by celebrating new starters and operating the new employee induction programme

Marketing Assistant Requirements:

• Some previous experience in a marketing or communications role
• Ability to demonstrate creative/innovative/measurable marketing campaigns
• Degree qualified
• Great event organisation skills
• Natural writing ability
• IT skills – outlook, word, excel, social media

Location: Kettering – With some home working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,000
