Marketing and Communications Manager

This role will support the development and delivery of the company's marketing and communications plan across all areas. The role will ensure that a coherent message and the presentation of the business are delivered into the marketplace. It will ensure creative multi-channel communications campaigns drive customer engagement, generating new business opportunities and maintaining a high profile and reputation across our sectors.

Accountable for;

Materials design development and updating, PR and Communication, articles, campaign design and delivery, website, social media.

Responsibilities;

- Develop and implement a comprehensive creative marketing and communications plan maximising the use of digital technology

- Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing through impact assessment

- Lead on all aspects of the digital marketing and communications activity ensuring a strong online and offline presence

- Liaise, communicate and support sites to ensure the presentation of the brand and its services are in line with company standards

- Cross organisationally/group working

- Partnership working with trade bodies and associations

- Develop and maintain a sector wide industry events directory

- Maintain and continually develop the website and social media activity

- Line manage the work and activities of the team

- Support in the strategic and operational development of marketing and communications

- Produce concise and timely reports

- Manage a delegated budget

- Create active campaigns to support delivery of core services

Skills and Experience Required;

- Business or Marketing Degree or equivalent or Diploma of Chartered Institute of Marketing

- Experience of working in a marketing team and implementing a marketing strategy

- Coordinated production of marketing material

- Written articles, adverts and newsletters

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Strong knowledge of marketing and communications techniques and marketing channels

- Strategic marketing and PR techniques

- Commercial awareness

- Customer relationships and management systems
