Cream Soda Recruitment are searching on behalf of our client for a Marketing Analyst to join an established retailers based in in Altrincham, Cheshire. Our client is a trusted brand with a turnover of over £80 million, a loyal customer base in a growing demographic trading across home shopping and retail channels in the UK and internationally.
We're currently seeking a self-starter to join our clinets team, who can keep up with the pace and make a real difference. OUr client work in relatively small, agile teams, so a true can-do attitude is essential. They are a friendly, happy bunch and most importantly they work hard and are passionate about their business.
Reporting to the Head of Analytics & Insight and working closely with the CMO, International Marketing Manager and senior business stakeholders, it’s the perfect position for an Analyst with excellent numerical skills and knowledge of Excel and SQL who is looking to progress their career through joining the dots and applying analytical skills to real business questions.
The role comes at a pivotal point in the growth of the business across international territories where the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of actionable insight, commercial modelling, forecasting, optimisation and recommendations based on robust analytics to support the planning, budgeting and reporting functions across domestic and international markets to ensure maximum customer worth and return on investment.
The key accountabilities of the role will be to:
- Build and develop the financial models to support the case for entry into new international markets and then development of existing
- Monitor and evaluate marketing incentive performance and make recommendations for future activity and tests
- Manage demand forecasting of marketing activity and ensure relevant areas are adequately resourced
As a successful candidate, you’ll have sound commercial acumen, passion and enthusiasm to add value, strong interpersonal skills and strong influencing skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-years previous experience working in a similar analytical role.
