The role: Kantar TNS are looking for an Associate Director with a strong interest in the banking and finance sector to take on a newly created role on one of Kantar’s key global accounts. This exciting sector is evolving more rapidly than almost any other with fintech innovations and open banking initiatives introducing considerable disruption, increasing competition and the need for more compelling brand value propositions and marketing. The role requires an ambitious individual who’s passionate about helping clients navigate these exciting but challenging sector changes.

The role involves a good degree of autonomy to lead key parts of our client’s most important insight programme, including a central role on the design and delivery of the project. You will be responsible for the team’s day to day contact with the client, including managing their ad hoc requests but also developing exposure with senior stakeholders â€" collaborating with other agencies across Kantar, and giving lots of scope for career development.

You must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to challenge the status quo and focus on the long-term strategic goals. Working as a team with dedicated Project Management experts, will mean that you will be focus solely on client relationships, research design, data analytics, insight, reporting and business growth recommendations for our clients.


· Developing modular questionnaire content for global and local market clientsÂ

· Analysis and insight synthesis to condense market stories into executive summary packs

· Leading team to ensure reports are delivering client impact

· Managing and leading ad hoc insight requests

· Leading day to day client relationships

· Internal collaboration across Kantar brands with exposure to consulting as well as insight functions

· Leading and coaching junior members of the team

· Incorporating advanced analytics to develop an increasing level of impact to client

· Overseeing development of analysis plans and specifications


· Excellent client management skills

· Experience of leading a team

· Good problem-solving skills

· Experience with questionnaire design, report production, dealing with clients, supporting ad hoc projects

· Significant quantitative research experience, including managing medium / large projects

· Experience using data interrogation tools (e.g. SPSS / RFS or similar)

· Understanding of report automation

· Strong attention to detail and a focus on maintaining a high level of quality

· Financial services sector experience would be an advantage
