We are currently recruiting for a number of full time, permanent Pharmacy Market Entry Advisors to be based in Leeds. Hours - shifts between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday

Primary Care Support England (PCSE) is part of Capita plc. In June 2015, Capita was selected by NHS England to manage and deliver administrative support services to GP Practices, Pharmacies, Dentists and Opticians.

Our priority is to continue delivering the services you receive today, but we will also introduce new arrangements to help us create national, consistent services for all our users

Role Detail

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all Pharmacy Market Entry applications are compliant with regulations and the Pharmacy Manual.

  • Ensure that applications are processed accurately and efficiently within defined timescales and according to policies and procedures

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail in all processing applications, exceeding customer expectations and service levels

  • Positively contribute to the Team's overall achievement of Service Levels and KPIs through achievement of personal goals and performance targets

  • Proactively contribute to improving the Service, actively identifying opportunities for improvement and understanding how your personal contribution impacts on delivery of the Service as a whole.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members and sections as necessary to contribute to the effective operation of the overall Service

  • Perform back office administrative and other tasks as may be necessary to support the effective operation of the Service including some outbound customer service calls to Pharmacy Market Entry Customers.

  • Be professional and friendly in all that you do from punctuality and attendance to communicating with colleagues and customers

  • Be polite, friendly and a good team player with the ability to work on your own or as part of the team. Attention to detail is essential and the ability to professionally communicate with customers and colleagues including large organisations.

Key Skills, Experience and Behaviours


  • A professional attitude with excellent written and spoken English.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet challenging deadlines.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft business applications

  • Positive, proactive and adaptable to change


  • Previous customer support centre experience

  • Previous administration experience

  • Knowledge of contracting desirable but not essential
