Manufacturing Test Engineer
A worldwide provider of high precision equipment used for micro-machining, welding, cutting and marking applications due to ongoing growth, are now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their manufacturing facility based in Warwickshire.
Reporting into the Manufacturing Test Engineering Manager, the successful individual will be responsible for dealing with any issues with the test equipment highlighted during production meetings including identifying what is wrong with and repairing the test equipment where required; review the test processes and the equipment to identify improvements; understand the test software and support the process in running of the tests; building and commissioning new test equipment as well as maintaining and upgrading test equipment where required.
Suitable individuals are likely to be qualified to HNC standard or above in Electronics, Physics or Optoelectronics but more importantly can demonstrate at least 2 years commercial experience of working within a test engineering, manufacturing test, test development or similar capacity; have experience of using PC controller and handheld test equipment and an awareness of machine safety.
Individuals with experience of test design / test process development; testing or using industrial lasers or have experience of working with optics would be of distinct interest to our client, though not essential.
This position is offering a salary in the region of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience together with 25 day holiday + 8 Bank holidays, Group Personal Pension, Private Medical and re-location support for the right individuals.
