I am currently seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to focus on a specific sector of our client’s product range within the Cambridge factory.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities surrounding the management of the production team with the sole objective of achieving manufacturing targets to the very best of standards. The candidate will be a driven and pro-active individual working against KPI’s whilst possessing excellent communication skills as they establish profound relationships with customers, suppliers and internal staff on a regular basis.
The successful candidate will need a degree or equivalent qualification within Mechanical, Electrical or relevant engineering qualification alongside 3-5 years of experience within a manufacturing role. As this is a management position, it is important that you can showcase your management experience of a team within previous roles.
You will have:
- 3-5yrs experience in a manufacturing environment.
- HNC or a Degree within mechanical/electrical or other engineering field.
- Experience of managing a team within previous roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with suppliers/consumers and staff.
- Knowledge of Lean Principles and/or Health and Safety procedures (Desirable)
- A confident, pro-active and target orientated attitude.
