We have an exciting opportunity with a leading sheet metal manufacturing company within the Portsmouth area for a Manufacturing Supervisor.

You will be managing and improving efficiency of production resources
Setting and monitoring KPI's to ensure output against schedule
Ensuring quality standards are adhered to at all times
Guiding, training and motivating the manufacturing team to ensure a skilled work force
Facilitate corrective action investigations and problem solving and working alongside the Production Manager against lead times for products
Recent experience in a Supervisory role within a manufacturing company
Strong leadership /people management skills with proven experience
You will need to have experience of training employees
Used to working under pressure
Experience of working to production and quality targets
Attention to detail
Strong communication & organisational skills and able to communicate at all levels
Computer literate, to look at spread sheets, update and process
Would be an advantage of Brazing or Welding experience or sheet meatal experience.
The hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm.
A starting salary of £22,000 to £25,000 per year plus overtime, free parking and a canteen.
