We have an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Manager to join the Factory Quality Team based at our Purina factory in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

What you can expect?
The Manufacturing Quality Manager will drive quality methodologies on the factory floor to eliminate quality defects.
Key responsibilities will include:
Establishes new Way of working (WOW) i.e. trending of quality data to identify pain areas and drive actions
Driving Total Performance Methodologies like Quality Pillar methodologies on shop floor to eliminate Quality Defects
Independently plan and drive the food safety & foreign body initiatives across the factory 45 plants in total) in collaboration with Conformance managers and production teams from each plant production teams.
Monitor trends in weekly quality KPIs, conduct investigations and liaise with teams to put improvements in place.
Support competency building of quality team for data management and problem solving
Being the point of contact for sensitive consumer complaints issue and leading investigations
Coached and develop Consumer Complaints Champion in conducting investigations.
Work on assigned quality projects.

The person that is successful in this role will be driven to drive improvement across production. This opportunity provides to develop individually and as part of a highly skilled team as well as giving someone the opportunity to make a real impact.
Other attributes would include:
HACCP Coordinator for the factory. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of HACCP (Level 4) to lead the coordinator role.
Strong work ethic and a self-starter.
Ability to influence by having strong inter person skills.
Ability to coach across all levels and work on own initiative.
Manage and prioritise workload in a fast paced environment.
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science with preference for Master’s qualification.
Preferable work experience within the food production industry.
