Our client, based in Chichester, is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Production Planner/Buyer to support their continued growth and success. In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in driving operational efficiency and ensuring seamless supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and components, ensuring timely availability
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimise processes and maintain quality standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively manage stock to prevent shortages or excesses
  • Analyse production data and trends to support continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A strong background in manufacturing with a keen understanding of production processes and quality standards
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills to support forecasting, planning, and reporting
  • A collaborative mindset, with a commitment to driving results and delivering outstanding customer service
