Manufacturing Operative

JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN DUTIES

  • Perform duties as set by the team leaders including support of the materials team leader as required
  • The level of work may vary in line with the operatives skill set as assessed by the team leaders, senior operatives and the manufacturing manager
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in line with the health and safety policy
  • Report any problems that is having an effect on production to the team leader or manufacturing manager
  • Report any concerns regarding quality of components or another operatives work to the team leader or manufacturing manger
  • Ensure knowledge is maintained of current works instructions and procedures
  • All activities must be logged using the manufacturing execution system (MES) whenever possible
  • Maintain a good level of personal hygiene
  • Be courteous and well-mannered at all times
  • To assist in the review and update (where necessary) of all work instructions and procedures
  • In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may be reasonably required.

  • Previous manufacturing experience
