Manufacturing & Operations Manager

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director and managing a manufacturing team, you will lead a number of Lean and Six Sigma projects to drive improvements and will support teams to ensure there is a continuing programme to maintain and develop knowledge, awareness and commitment to Lean tools and techniques, whilst maintaining first class customer service, quality and safety. This exciting and varied role offers also genuine career progression within larger group.


The Person

Ideally with a relevant degree and Black Belt accredited, you will have experience of implementing lean and continuous improvement techniques within a manufacturing business and have successfully implemented continuous improvement, lean or six sigma projects at multiple line level and be knowledgeable with SMED, kaizen, waste, 8D etc.

You will understand the importance of people engagements and be able to win the hearts and minds and inspire people to sustain change in their workplace.
