Job Title - Manufacturing Engineer - Permanent
Are you an experienced manufacturing engineer? Do you hold an engineering/technical degree/qualification? Experienced in new product introduction?
My client is a world renowned manufacturing business who sell their products throughout the world, they have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for new product improvement introduction. This role requires a high level understanding in manufacturing technology, quality process and tooling. Looking for someone who has strong analytical skills to provide results from complex technical data.
Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment is essential
Project management experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience of implementing lean manufacturing tools and techniques
Be able to communicate with all levels of employee within the business
Excellent IT skills
Experience using CAD software
Job description and key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing support to the new product improvement introduction
Support continuous improvement activities
Create and update standard work in line with standard work audit results
Attend all design reviews and project meetings
Provide engineering support by troubleshooting problems and effecting timely solutions using kaizen lean manufacturing methodology
Investigate any issues raised through the continuous improvement processes
Liaise with other internal teams to provide feedback during new and existing projects
Run and plan prototype builds
