Role Overview: As a Client Manager, you will be an integral part of our client's team, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and advisory services. - Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and financial matters.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business operations and financial goals.
- Provide expert guidance on accounting, tax, and financial planning, tailoring solutions to meet clients' individual needs.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Monitor industry trends and regulations, proactively advising clients on relevant changes and implications.
- Play a pivotal role in business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand services within the existing client base.
- Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of growth and learning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in a client-facing role within an accounting practice.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate team members.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
