This role is very autonomous and offers the successful candidate an opportunity to manage and handle the stores day to day functions as the key decision maker.
Heading up a small, friendly team the roles key responsibilities include:
Managing and motivating the team
Leading on the generation of sales, meeting and exceeding targets
Provide creative lead in the visual merchandising of the shop, ensuring window displays drive sales into the store
Managing stock control and stock levels. Planning orders to avoid out of stock problems, liasing with key suppliers.
Making maximum usage of the EPOS system to avoid over or understocking to control overall stock levels
Using margins when buying to generate above average profit on non core lines.
Have input with product development and attend trade shows as required along with leadership seminars and other training courses

With an enthusiastic, proactive and creative approach to the job the Store Manager will:
Need to be flexible and adaptable with a passion for driving sales forward.
Be able to exhibit the initiative to required to make this store successful and be able to demonstrate good communication skills at all levels
Be thoroughly versed in EPOS retailing or show a genuine eagerness to learn.
The Manager must be available to work bank holidays when required, one weekend day as standard and both by exception.
