A leading, highly regarded and growing firm of chartered accountants, based in Exeter, Devon. The role has arisen through a combination of continued organic growth, replacement need and planning for the future development of the firm.
Joining the team as a Manager with, based in Exeter, you will be working closely with one of the firm's partners, fully responsible for a mixed, varied and challenging client portfolio, managing the client relationships and provision of general practice services across accounts, corporate, personal tax and other services, for a mixed client base of some sole traders, partnerships and predominantly varied limited companies, SME's, OMB's and corporate clients. Turnovers and industries are varied up to circa the audit threshold in turnover, on largest clients.
You will develop long term relationships with your clients with significant opportunity to develop advisory services, planning and project work. As a key addition to the team, your role, responsibilities and career will develop over time with the opportunity to develop and progress in your career.
ACA or ACCA qualified, you will have a career background in accountancy practice providing any of audit, accounts, tax and general practice services to a mixed client base, alongside developing relationships, delivering on planning and advisory projects and developing a team. You will be at Manager level, undertaking managerial responsibilities and you will be seeking an opportunity with genuine development potential and be looking to manage your own portfolio, developing relationships and your client base, as well as working closely with one of the firms partners adding value to clients and assisting in the delivery of advisory projects.
Circa £33,000 - £42,000 dependent on the experience, background and level of the right individual, plus benefits, negotiable
