Manager - Restaurant, Hotel & Tourist Venue
My client is an award winning Hotel & Restaurant that is an integral part of a tourist attraction in the Somerset countryside. They are looking for a talented manager to join the team at their busy restaurant serving freshly produced traditional British classics and other dishes. This role would also double up as a hotel duty manager role. This site is busy all year round as it is part of a major tourist attraction so you must be able to run service in a high volume environment.
- The ability to lead a busy service from the front.
- Ability to deal with busy shifts and volume.
- People person with ability to manage staff and guest relations.
- Knowledge of finance procedures, stock taking and scheduling.
- Great HACCP knowledge and a track record of EHO compliance.
- Some Hotel and accommodation experience is desired but not essential.
The client is very flexible as to whether the role includes aspects of Hotel management also and is willing to negotiate a salary on variable range dependent on the scope of the role and experience.
