If you have a passion for travel then this could be the role for you. The Traveltime Group is an independent, family owned and operated travel business operating is SE England. Since 1993 we have grown to five retail branches as well as two holiday companies including our market-leading Castaways Holidays and Moxley & Co holiday programmes of luxury tailor-made holidays. We are members of Traveller Made - the exclusive organisation for the world's leading 300 travel agencies and designers - we are one of only 20 or so UK based members.

We are seeking to appoint a manager for our retail travel agency in Frimley, Surrey. You will be leading a small team of successful consultants and helping us continue to grow our business.

We are looking for candidates with luxury travel agency experience who are well travelled and have excellent sales ability. You should have previous team leader/ management experience. You will be expected to lead your team and prepare and implement business development and promotional plans. The role does also require that you achieve your own personal sales targets as well as supporting your team to reach branch targets. You will be expected to use your own travel experience to assist with customer queries and engage with customers to meet their individual travel needs creating bespoke holidays for them. You should be equally comfortable assisting clients face to face, on the telephone and by email. You will be expected to provide personalised customer service of the highest level at all times.

You will be able to prove/ demonstrate:

  • Team leader/ management experience

  • Strong personal sales experience in a luxury travel agency and ability to meet targets

  • A passion for travel and extensive travel knowledge of destinations visited.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • A sound commercial approach to all decision making.

  • Patience and attention to detail

  • A commitment to your own professional development

  • Ability to positively represent Company Best Practice at all times

  • An adaptable and flexible approach to your work ethic

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, email and Internet

  • Experience of working with minimal supervision

  • A full current UK driving licence

Opening hours are 9.00 to 17.30 Mondays to Fridays and 9.00 to 17.00 on Saturdays. Full and part time staff are expected to work full days including alternate Saturdays.

Salary plus annual results based bonus paid after qualifying period

Personal Development
Our team are all destination specialists. You will be expected to develop your destination knowledge and undertake overseas visits for up to four weeks every year as well as study towards appropriate training qualifications.
