Farmfoods is seeking to recruit around 50 graduates, experienced managers, supervisors and team leaders to join our Management Development Programme starting in September 2018 on a full time basis, nationwide. The successful applicants will receive a salary of £22,000 from day one.

Upon successful completion of the 12 month training programme, successful applicants will be offered a full time, permanent role as a Branch Manager.

We are looking for committed, motivated, hard working grads (from any discipline) or managers, supervisors and team leaders from a similar customer facing retail or hospitality environment to join our unique programme starting in September 2018.

Opportunities are available nationwide and most of your time on the programme will see you based in one of our branches. We have 330 stores around the UK and will aim to place you in branches within a reasonable commute from home, relocation is therefore not essential on this programme.

Working in our fast-paced retail environment is exciting and rewarding. We pride ourselves on the simplicity of our operations and empower our branch teams to take control allowing them real responsibility to deliver a great service to our customers. We are a retail business so weekend, early morning and evening work will be required.

The Programme:

During our 12 month programme you will experience almost every part of our business. You will have all of the support and training you need and you will find the job rewarding, requiring excellent organisational skills, an ability to work efficiently and to keep things simple.

After 9 months you will have acquired the necessary knowledge and management skills to enable you to take on the challenge of running one of our branches. This is the climax of the year and will see you running your own branch for three months, managing a team of up to 40 people. You will have to draw on all of the knowledge and experience gained to date and you will have to work effectively, adopting a positive attitude as you motivate your team to overcome the daily challenges of running a successful business.

To be eligible to apply you must have either:

A 2:2 degree in any discipline
A full UK driving licence
The full and unrestricted right to work in the UK
A hard working, friendly personality

A minimum of 1 year’s management experience in a similar customer facing environment
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English grade C or above
A full UK driving licence
