OX Seven overview of the Management Couple position:
OX Seven are working with a quintessentially English country house in the heart of the Cotswolds, sat comfortably in the middle of one of the areas busiest villages. This beautiful property and village attracts tourists from all over the world, with constant business and a continual footfall.
We are looking for a Management Couple to come in and treat this newly refurbished B&B as their own. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right pair to join an ever-growing company with a focus on hospitality and service, and to put a stamp on their own property in a picturesque location.
Your day-to-day as the Management Couple:
Between the two of you, one will be a seasoned chef and enjoy the buzz of a busy breakfast for the guests. You will order, prep and oversee the smooth operation of the bed and breakfast to ensure all guests are fed and watered, ready for a busy day of walking around the local countryside.
The other half of the team with be front of house and customer focused. You will be hands on and thrive on meeting new people, showing them warm hospitality, giving recommendations, a warm welcome back and providing them with a comfortable and memorable stay.
After a recent redirection of the business, and a beautiful luxury refurbishment, the property has bounds of potential to achieve 100% occupancy all year round and is a perfect opportunity for a generous couple to come in and drive it forward.
What I will look for in the perfect couple:
- Experience in a front of house role
- Confident breakfast chef
- Hospitable, excellent communication and confidence
- The ability to set unmatched guest experiences
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- A good level of spoken English
- Happy to work weekends - your days off will usually be Tuesday and Wednesday
- Salary £45,000 - £50,000
