Our client based near Brandon is looking to appoint a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working as part of an expanding finance team, you will be responsible for the production of the management accounts across the business on a monthly basis, and production of the monthly management reporting.
You main tasks will include management accounts preparation and analysis, balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations, financial analysis including manufacturing margin/variance analysis, fixed asset register maintenance and VAT returns. Other key duties will be supervision of the Accounts Assistant and Purchase Ledger Assistant to ensure the aged debt and creditor accounts are kept up to date.
You will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified / part-qualified with experience of working in a similar role, combined with strong systems and Excel skills. A positive and proactive approach to working in a busy environment combined with a strong team work ethic will be essential.
