Management Accountant: About the role

Due to significant growth, both organically and through acquisitions, my client are seeking to recruit an experience and qualified senior management accountant to support the finance operation, managing monthly accounts and delivering KPI’s.

Management Accountant: Key responsibilities

Produce monthly management accounts

Work closely with the Operational Finance Manager to support operational finance function

Provide monthly analysis on variances against budget

Build and produce monthly KPI pack for Senior Management

Provide monthly balance sheet back up and reconciliations

Play a key role in producing and developing monthly Group reporting packs

Involved in the budgeting and forecasting processes

Prepare statutory accounts with support from Group and manage local audit process

Management Accountant: Key requirements

At least 5 years’ experience of working within a senior management accounts role

Experience of using Sage is required

Qualified accountant (ideally 5 years PQE)

IT literate, including advanced excel skills

Organised and methodical approach

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work to strict deadlines

Strong worth ethic

Experience of working in the insurance industry would be an advantage but not a requirement
