Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a Public Sector organisation in Leeds on an interim basis. The initial contract is for 3-4 months however there is a possibility of extension.
- Calculate budgets and provide accurate and timely monitoring information for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse, often complex, data and assess the financial implications for the organisation
- Support the senior finance manager/finance manager in the preparation of regular finance reports
- Create forecasts (both regular & ad hoc) for use by internal and external stakeholders
- Lead monthly analysis and reconciliation of income, expenditure and budget to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger across all budgets.
- An ability to lead and work as part of a team under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong MS Excel skills
