Collate budget information from the divisions and complete a total Service centre and profit centre budget with the required 5% mark up. This is done twice a year.
Create yearly and half yearly budgets for the overall company. Consolidate all the divisional data and the Profit Centre data into the overall company budget.
Report in both USD and GBP currency for all segments of Company business
Review all monthly transactions and recode any coding errors.
Process monthly accruals, prepayment and depreciation journals for a multitude of divisions
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and post any necessary corrections.
Create monthly management accounts in both currency and USD and agree them back to the numbers in Access Dimensions.
Monthly management accounts reporting with narratives to managers and answering any
Calculating of and posting of monthly reallocation of support divisions and 5% mark-up
Produce total company management accounts pack
Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Recharges
Review and reconcile all the balance sheet accounts and raise recharge invoices.
Overseas Branch returns nominal ledger entry and oversight
Cover for other Management accounting roles within the team
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in producing management reports and some experience in producing financial statements
Good knowledge of accounting software understanding how to move from Trial Balance to Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet to UK FRS 102 financial statement standard
Advanced excel skills – Pivot tables, Lookup tables, Macros. Manipulation of large amount of data quickly and accurately using own skill knowledge essential
Previous use of Microsoft Access database tables and queries
Be proactive and be able to learn using their own initiative. Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Willingness to see the job through to the end and achieve the deadline.
Good communication skills, able to present findings and Budget vs Actual ‘gap’ analysis in an informative way to finance and non-finance staff
Experience of branch structure organization
Working with Non Finance commercial and operational managers to create budgets and
Experience of Working in a multi division environment essential
Experience of Support Cost sharing, allocation of recharges essential
