Management Accountant

With a turnover in excess of £180 million, and a presence in over 80 countries , this global professional services company are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant. Working with the UK Financial Controller and Senior Management Accountant you will be providing detailed management accounts and analysis across the Group. The information and data that you provide will allow the company to look at ways to improve their operational and accounting processes, and ultimately enable them to better deliver their solutions to their international clients.

Based from an office in Heathrow, working 0900hrs to 17.00hrs and working as part of a 14 strong team, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Assist the Senior Management Accountant to deliver detailed management accounts for the main trading company within 5 working days of month end.
  • WIP Calculation
  • Monthly Third Party Administrator Bordeaux reconciliation
  • Assist in annual audit for Group companies
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Any other ad hoc duties.

A varied and interesting role, the successful candidate will either be fully or part qualified (ACA, ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable experience of producing and understanding operational management accounts. The candidate will have Advanced Excel 2010 skills and experience of using accounting software.

Able to 'hit the ground running’ the successful candidate will have 'Hands on’ experience and knowledge of the audit process and will be able to produce information of a high quality to tight deadlines.

The candidate will have strong communication skills and will be able to deal with finance and non-financial people at all levels

To be successful you must have/be all of the following:

  • Experience of collating and producing detailed management accounts
  • WIP Calculation
  • Undertaking Monthly Third Party Administrator reconciliations
  • Experience of annual financial audits
  • Undertaking Intercompany reconciliations
  • Any other ad hoc duties.
  • Excellent advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate & present data face to face
  • Recognised professional accountancy qualification ( Part qualified also considered)
  • Sound and proven business acumen
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • An understanding of why certain information & data is required
