Your role will be to work with the Finance Director to assist him with the Management Accounts production. You will have experience with accruals, prepayments and journals and prepared accounts up to trial balance.
The job will involve the following duties:
*Processing and review of manufacturing cost variance.
*Stock analysis, PI management and MRP development
*Product and customer profitability analysis.
*Play a key role in the continuous improvement process of both financial and none financial processes.
*Preparing and interpreting weekly and monthly analysis
*Participate in the month end process to generate detailed accounts pack and supporting KPI's and reports for the business management.
*Analysis of business performance and support none financial management in interpretation.
*Assist in annual audit and other projects as required.
*Assist in Forecasting and Budgeting.
*Analyse the performance of the business and advise how to prevent problems, adapt to changing circumstances and improve value.
*Cash flow management and reporting.
*Demonstrate appropriate understanding / knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and ensure these are applied.
*Provide support and development for accounts assistants in maintaining accuracy and frequency of data processing, assisting with hands on activity as required for holiday cover
The ideal candidate will be bright and able to work autonomously. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also desirable (v look-ups/macros/pivot tables). Depending on experience you will see a return of £25,000-32,000 for 37.5 hours work. The selected individual will become part of a highly successful, sales focused business who are constantly trying to expand.
