Robertson Bell Finance are working with a leading property development group with a turnover in excess of £300m to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for a minimum period of 2 years to cover a period of secondment. The role joins the organisation during a period of rapid change following a recent restructure and has the potential to become permanent following this initial contract.

Reporting into the Head of Operational Finance, the main responsibilities of the Interim Management Accountant are as follows:

*Prepare management accounts along with detailed commentary for the relevant business areas in line with company policies.
*Assist in the preparation of the relevant departmental annual budget and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
*Analysis of key performance indicators for inclusion in board returns and monthly management packs.
*Contribute to the completion of statutory year end accounts and be the main contact with external auditors for any relevant queries.

The successful candidate must be fully or part qualified (CCAB) and actively studying towards qualification. You will have experience of working in a large, complex organisation in order to fully appreciate the scope of this role. In addition to this you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
