Optima are exclusively representing a growing business within the Stoke on Trent area with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is a newly created position which has been created to support the head office finance function and therefore a fantastic time to join the business. You will have the opportunity to make a positive contribution and support the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will cover a range of tasks in support of the wider finance function and work as part of a small team. You will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts however due to the structure of the business individuals must be comfortable taking a hands on approach to more transactional duties alongside the production of managemenet accounts.

Bank and reconciliations
Fixed asset management
Accruals and prepayments
The successful candidate will be qualified or qualified by experience and hold appropriate experience with an excellent working knowing of Excel. Experience of SAGE would be advantageous however not essential.
