greenwellgleeson is recruiting for a Management Accountant on permanent basis for a business based in Birmingham.
Provision of Finance support for Recycling Business and REPC Business areas to management and other stakeholders.
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts Pack - Monthly preparation and circulation of Managements Accounts Pack for RPL and REPC which includes the Financial Statements (Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Statements) and support information for dissemination via Finance Database to Management.
BUC Reporting and Financial Communication - Involving the feedback of information to key decision makers in the business units in the recognised forums, including business unit meetings, regular management meetings, projection meetings for product areas.
Standard Costing and Budgeting -
Co-ordination of budgeting activities for the business unit up to gross margin and allotted indirect areas for RPL. Ensuring effective setting of planned targets and computations of standard costing for allotted business areas, capturing and ensuring integrity of all contributing data and application of Xxx Group Standard. Timely preparation and analysis of planned business area reporting material with effective commentary/analysis. For REPC this also includes overhead and CAPEX budget preparation.
Month End Processing - Allocated month end processes for Recycling Business and REPC business units. Ensuring correct reflection of RINKS within CUBIC and SHARE and aggregation of RINKS and other sub ledger information for entering into CUBIC. For REPC this includes supporting RSS UK for transacting into SHARE during the monthly cycle.
Systems - Development of Cognos in-line with business needs. General maintenance of CUBIC interfaces for sub ledger integration. Maintenance of CUBIC CoA structures and allocation model. Maintenance of Cognos to ensure alignment to CUBIC. Maintenance of RINKS financial data for recycling inventories.
Applicants must be qualified at CIMA intermediate level or must be qualified by experience.
Must have a minimum of three years financial and commercial experience in a manufacturing environment, encompassing good core experience in finance, but also having additional experience of production control and production planning systems and methods.
Will be required to adhere to strict deadlines.
Must be computer literate.
Oracle systems knowledge is preferable.
