Management Accountant role within the group function, which has opportunity to progress to a more senior role internally

Client Details

Growing owner-managed Property Group bases in Leeds with multiple, diverse business units.


Key Responsibilities:

Pack for board meetings

  • Monthly management accounts including KPI's & detailed commentary
  • Engagement with GFO and GFC to review pack


  • Petty cash review
  • Stock takes
  • Cross brand process reviews

Statutory matters

  • Annual accounts
  • Annual return
  • CT comps

Production of yearly budgets

  • P&L
  • Balance sheet
  • Cash flow
  • Monthly review with operational managers

New computer system

  • Understand new system and assist with migration
  • Ensure effective use


  • VAT returns
  • PAYE returns


  • Preparation of year end files

Assist auditors when attending site


  • 3 or more years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the property sector would be an advantage but not essential
  • Good computer skills are essential (Excellent standard in Excel)
  • Strong time management skills
  • High attentions to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work
  • Works effectively within a team
