A growing company based in Addlestone, Surrey is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join its team.
This Accountant role is paying up to £35,000 based on experience and hours of work will be 8.30am - 5.00pm.
This is an exciting new opportunity whereby you will support the company with the following range of duties:
Managing company accounts and Keeping accurate financial records
Preparation of Accounts up to P&L and Trial Balance
Reconciling the bank accounts and credit card statements
Allocation of bank payments/receipts onto QuickBooks
Monthly reporting and budgeting / forecasting.
Quarterly P&L Reviews against Forecast/Budgets
Maintaining clients' account cash balances, running reports on Excel
Preparing the Companies year end accounts.
Journals entries and year- end adjustments (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets)
Responsible for all Insurance policies and renewals
Identifying areas of cost savings
To be considered suitable for this Management Accountant role you will need to have the following skills/experience:
-Understanding of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) as the business works with a large contractor base
-Experience of preparing monthly management accounts
-Part or fully qualified in CIMA / ACCA or AAT
-Strong IT skills and Competent in Microsoft Excel
