Management Accountant Music

My client is looking to bring on board a dynamic, forward thinking and established Management Accountant. This role sits within one of the most interesting parts of the business and has a very international outlook. As a key member of the finance team, the role works closely with international business finance, London-based International business units and the Corporate office.

How you'll spend your days:

· Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review for management pack
· Support budgeting and forecasting activities with International financial planning team
· Appraisal of cash flow budgets, forecasts and actuals including variance analysis and management commentary
· Control owner and perform related SOX controls agreed upon by management including evaluation of any risks that may arise
  • Maintain a control-led environment consistent with internal SOX guidelines
· Management of internal and external audits
· Liaise with affiliates and provide advice on policies and trading relating to central finance
· Review and distribution of affiliate financial reports in accordance with corporate timetable together with full reconciliation
· Control, review and approval of month end journals for home office related financials
· Analytical review of all related financials and presentation to senior management
· Analyse and insight on foreign exchange fluctuations and hedging and liaising with treasury
· Manage aged debtor analysis in order to assess financial risk and determine relevant provisions
· Oversee and approve all financial postings and accruals in entity
· Manage artist advance, royalty accounting and recovery reconciliations
· Analysis and review of Industry body reporting and queries
· Development of effective controls and processes including implementation of such improvements where possible
· Ad-hoc assignments and projects as required supporting management.

You ideally should have/be:

· Part-Qualified - Finalist
· Experience within the music/media industry preferred
· Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills
· Knowledge of nominal ledgers and database management systems preferred (eg. Oracle GFS)
· Excellent oral/written communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
· Ability to perform in a fast changing environment
· Team player with excellent communication abilities
