Role, duties & responsibilities

• Core date processing
• Profit or loss and balance sheet preparation
• Group monthly management accounts preparation
• Bank postings and reconciliation
• Journal postings
• Receivables and payables management
• Stock control
• Budget, forecast and analysis reporting
• VAT return preparation
• Assist with audit
• Cash flow forecasting
• Capital expenditure reporting
• Manage Company insurance

Person specification

• Qualified / part qualified / or qualified by experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Sage 200 experience
• Organiser and problem solver
• Critical and analytical thinker
• Communication skills
• Experience of group reporting

Specific tasks

• Responsible for recording all transactions
• Preparation of local reporting for review with Finance Manager
• Assist with preparation of reporting
• Take on stand-alone tasks such as vat returns, insurance (including fleet), intrastat and any other tasks that can be delegated from the Finance Manager
• Ensure regular stock checks are carried out and reflected in the financial records
