Managed Services Account Manager

Will need to have strong track record of business development, networking, relationship building as the role is essentially building a local region portfolio of 3rd party suppliers (e.g. cleaners, housekeepers, linen suppliers, etc) that our property owners might want to use as part of renting their property.

Will need to have strong negotiation experience as they will be negotiating deals with these suppliers, so need to be able to leverage Sykes’ buying power.

Will also be reporting and monitoring service metrics, so experience of working with/to service standards/ SLAs and ideally also reporting on them would be beneficial

Personality wise, will need to be high energy, and particularly strong on relationship building, very enthusiastic. A commercial mindset is key (and being able to understand what they should prioritise depending on local owner demand).

Essential Exeperience-
•Excellent rapport building skills
•Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence
•Outstanding verbal communication skills
•Business to Business sales experience
•Ability to use your own initiative
•Good standard of written work with accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable Experience:
•Have good geographical knowledge of the UK
•IT literacy of the following packages; Windows, Word and Excel.

Core Accountabilities:

We are looking for a confident, self-motivated person to join our Managed Service Team. You will be recruiting third party suppliers, negotiating the best deals for our owners and building long lasting business relationships. As well as identifying potential new partners you will need to sell our clients products and use our significant buying power to secure the best prices. you can answer yes to the following questions we would be delighted to hear from you.
