About the Job:

Active Recruitment are looking for a teacher of Male PE to cover short-term leave from 16th April. The school is situated close to a mainline station in the Basildon district of Essex.

The ability to teach PE to KS4 is essential. Initially this will be on a temporary position to cover planned absence.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have either a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or hold a recognised UK Teaching qualification.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of teaching PE to KS4. Candidates must also have a clear DBS, registered online.

The Client:

Our client is an 11-19 mixed comprehensive school based in Billericay, close to the local train station. The school is graded "Good" by Ofsted.

This is a good school that works outstandingly well in partnership with others to promote learners' well-being and provide good value for money. It plays a leading role in the Local Education Community and the local '14 to 19' partnership.
