Maintenance Technician

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician in the Banbury area with our well established client.

As a Maintenance Technician you will need to have:

  • Formal apprenticeship within the electro-mechanical environment
  • Excellent knowledge on electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's and robotics
  • Knowledge on conveyor systems, control systems, gas fired burners, drives, motors, humidity controls and essential booth balance monitoring
  • Mechanically able to repair trolleys and metal fabrication work
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Flexible working approach

Details:

  • Salary: £683 per week
  • Working Hours: Continental shift patterns 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
  • Location: Banbury
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Maintenance Technician:

  • Provide multi-skilled technical service and quality control
  • Respond rapidly to all breakdowns or imminent failures
  • Record downtime
  • Use root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of failures
  • Assist with TPM techniques
  • Collect equipment technical data, critical spares, suppliers and vendors
  • Achieve KPI's set
  • Organise all spare parts
  • Ensure that robust systems are in place for their documentation, usage, storage, cost and availability
  • Ensure all tasks have a robust risk assessment and a safe system of work
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to 5s standards
  • Assist with weekly audits and drive actions
  • Ensure that maintenance processes of power wash, de-min equipment and paint recovery systems are maintained effectively
  • Assist with routine cam changes
